Samsung has introduced its latest Solid State Drive (SSD), 256 GB on FlashSSD adapted for the players. Component is considered to offer a five-fold improvement in data loading time compared to traditional hard drives, and run with lower energy consumption.The SSD uses a SATA interface and lists the maximum rates of sequence read 220MB / s and write rates up to 200MB / s. The mean time between failure (MTBF) is estimated to be 1,000,000 hours, while the drive can handle operating shock of 1,500 G. Information priced up to 256 GB SSD has yet to be announced.
