The drive is also capable of recording with standard 4.7 GB DVD + /-R discs at up to 16x speed, 8.5 GB DVD + /-R Double / Dual Layer up to 8X DVD + RW at 8X maximum , DVD-RW up to 6X, CD-R up to 48x, CD-RW at up to 24X and supports DVD-RAM recording at 12x speed.
