Dell is considering a completely new market for its latest 24-inch high-end LCD monitors, Dell UltraSharp U2410. Only announced in Japan, the new UltraSharp U2410 screens already lose accuarate PVA (patterned vertical alignment) to the panel for a more precise IPS (in-plane switching) panel, which allows 100-percent coverage of sRGB color and 96 - the percentage of coverage of Adobe RGB - leading to improved color and accuracy.
Intended for a special niche graphics, images or video clips of people, the new Dell UltraSharp U2410 also allows the color calibration of data without having to use the hardware tools. Further, it manages to display a new experience with 80,000:1 dynamic contrast, and 6ms average pixel response time and 400cd/m2 brightness.
With four USB hub expansion ports, VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, RCA inputs, and analog component connections, the new Dell UltraSharp U2410 is filled with goodies that will make you forget the pricey $ 758 price tag. It is already available in Japan but we are not sure whether this thing will leave the country.
