Pentax has announced the availability of the P80 and wallet-friendly Optio E80 compact digital cameras. The Optio P80 has 12.1 Megapixel sensor, a 4X wide-angle zoom lens PENTAX of 27.5 wide, and 2.7-inch LCD display, PENTAX Shake Reduction (SR) technology Face Detection, Smile Capture, and ISO to 6400. Available in three fashionable colors including Black, Pearl, Mint, and the camera is capable of recording 720p HD video at 30fps. On the other hand, the Pentax Optio E80 is an entry-level camera with 10 Megapixel CCD, a 3X optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display, ISO to 6400, and Face Detection. The camera is capable of recording 720p HD video at 15fps. The P80 and the Pentax Optio E80 will be released in September 2009 to 199.95 dollars and 129.95 dollars, respectively.(Via techfresh)
