Dell officially unveiled a new entertainment laptop XPS lineup, including a 15.6-inch Dell XPS 15th.
Like the XPS 14 and 17, XPS 15, the choice of Intel Core i7 i5 and Optimus switchable Nvidia graphics technology, which saves battery life. It comes with dual-core i5 i5-460M or 560M, or Quad Core i7 i7 740QM or 840QM. Besides the integrated graphics, Intel HD, XPS 1915 has NVIDIA GeForce GT420M GT435M or a dedicated video card. The notebook is available with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, up to 640 GB 7200 rpm hard drive or 256 GB SSD and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo.
New Dell XPS has a 15.6-inch LED display with full HD 1080p resolution bakclight 720p or lower.
There's also a built-in JBL speakers for 2.1 total power of 20W and Waves MaxxAudio Technology, or a TV tuner, 2.0MP webcam, several networking options, including 802.11n, WiMAX, HSDPA and EVDO HSPA mobile broadband, Bluetooth and Gigabit LAN. The laptop has an optional GPS, two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0/eSATA combo 9-in-1 memory card reader, mini DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4 video output, and NVIDIA Play 3DTV that the laptop is used to "connect to 3D TV with support for the project and effortlessly favorite Blu-ray and 3D-3D slides. "
With regard to design, this notebook has rounded corners, silver aluminum cover and a black aluminum palm rest.
According to product specification XPS 1915 battery life provides up to 5 hours and 14 minutes with the standard 6-cell battery or up to 9 hours and 9 minutes extended 9-cell unit.
