2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class at 2011 Detroit Auto ShowMercedes-Benz will unveil his 2012 face-lifted C-Class sedan next month at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show and is from car dealers in the U.S. next summer.

The upgraded C-Class gets revised front and rear ends. The cockpit has a new instrument panel with a high-resolution color display.

For the U.S. market, the 2012 C-Class sedan will be initially offered in three variants.

The C250 is powered by a new twin-turbo, direct-injection four-cylinder engine delivers 201 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque. The C300 4Matic has a 228-hp V6 with 221 lb-ft of torque and all-wheel drive. The C350 gets a new direct-injection V6 with 302 hp and 273 lb-ft.

The new optional driver assistance systems for the 2012 C-Class are adaptive high beam assistant, Park Assist with parking distance control, lane keeping support and assist blind spot. The Attention Assist drowsiness detection system comes standard.
