Nokia brings a new model C5, the C5-03. Instead of the candy bar form factor with number pad as we found on C5 and C5-00-01, the new C5-03 is a full touchscreen smartphone with the call, Home and End Call buttons. It features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera and WiFi connectivity.
This new C5 also packs a touch-screen compass and Assisted GPS for use with the latest version of the free Ovi Maps hands-free navigation service. It has 40MB of internal memory and supports microSD / SDHC up to 16GB. The phone runs Symbian ^ 1 (aka S60 5th edition touch edition). The C5-03 offers up to 11.5 hours for GSM and 4.5 hours using 3G and about 24-25 days standby time.
Nokia C5-03 measures 105.8 mm x 51.0 mm x 13.8 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 93g - which makes it a similar size to the (soon) the forthcoming C6-01, and a piece smaller than the Nokia N8 and C7. It comes in graphite black / black graphite, graphite black / lime green, graphite black / silver aluminum and graphite black / Petrol blue two-tone color schemes. Comes at the end of Q3, the C5-03 costs around 170 Euros.
