Fujitsu LifeBook E780 Laptop

Fujitsu LifeBook E780 LaptopFujitsu recently announced the LifeBook E780, a laptop 15.6 "desktop replacement for business users.

The LifeBook E780 comes with the Intel Core i7 i5 or, optional Intel vPro technology management, GMA integrated HD graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1GB dedicated video card, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up 500 GB hard drive and a DVD burner or optional Blu-ray optical drive that can be replaced by an optional modular bay battery.

Its screen has a resolution of 1366 × 768 or 1600 × 900 pixels and optional anti-glare coating.

Fujitsu LifeBook E780 also includes a 1.3MP webcam option, optional WiFi 802.11n 2000 Gobi mobile broadband, and optional Bluetooth modem, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, four USB ports, PC Card and ExpressCard slots, a Memory Stick / SD card slot, a smart card reader, Firewire, serial port, VGA output, a fingerprint sensor, and two pointing devices - Touchpad and Point Stick Quick.

With the standard 6-cell battery, the laptop starts at 6.17 pounds and offers up to 4 hours and 20 minutes running time. The battery life can be prolonged to 11 hours and 05 minutes with the unit 8-cell battery and optional additional modular bay.

The laptop runs Windows 7 or Windows Vista operating system and starts at $ 1237 Fujitsu's online store.
