Olympus has announced the introduction of "PEN E-PL1" Micro Four Thirds System interchangeable lens digital camera on the market in Korea, which will be available in March.
Positioned as an entry-level model of GH Olympus E-PL1 is equipped with a new interface helps guide users to use live with the results they want even if you have some experience in the field of photography.
PEN E-PL1 third model series GH Olympus Micro Four Thirds System interchangeable lens digital cameras. Their predecessors, GH E-P1, P2 and S, introduced last year, was widely considered to be light, compact form, distinctive design and superior picture quality. Equipped with a new interface specifically designed to be more user-friendly compact cameras, the new E-PL1 is the input model that makes the level of GH series of photo-quality access to a wider audience than before.
Besides providing high-quality photos easily with full auto, E-PL1 features a new Live interface guide that helps users to use their creativity. The Live Guide, even those who have only used point-and-shoot camera can easily and intuitively adjust the brightness, hue, background defocusing and other parameters for the image and get the results you want without learning a lot of SLR-class photographic techniques.
Lightweight, compact Micro Four Thirds system design and built-in flash offers an easy transition to the first interchangeable lens camera users. Choice of white, champagne gold and black colors of the body are also offered a wider range of color preferences of customers.
New features include a dedicated button in Movie mode, which allows you to record 720p HD movies at any time, and mode-ENHENCE image (originally introduced on the E-P2), which provides images of exceptional clarity and heightened realism that fully communicate the excitement of the time. Article Six filters are also offered, including a new filter Sepia mild and can be applied to films, as well as the still image shooting. Like e-P2, E-PL1 is equipped with an accessory port, which can be used to connect high-definition VF-2 Live viewfinder or SEMA-1 stereo 1 microphone
Imaging, 4/3-inch, 12.3-megapixel high-speed Live MOS sensor and image processing engine TruePic V quality that rivals that of the advanced digital SLR cameras.
Moving forward, Olympus will continue to expand its Micro Four Thirds System product lineup, and a growing market that it serves.
