HP leads the charge when it comes to design in motion with Giant Manufacturing launch its first touch-enabled netbook - 5102 Mini at CES 2010.
The booming popularity of netbooks, manufacturers are seeking new ways to differentiate from competitors, and HP wants to grab the initiative.
As well as the possibility of a touch screen, 5102 will also face recognition software, Linux based QuickWeb which allows nearly instant access to the Internet and files, and house the new Intel Atom processor - Pineview.
HP fans will be glad to hear that it also announced a new touchscreen-enabled laptop TouchSmart TM2. This little number is a function allowing you to convert rotary screen tablets - we want this sound.
Prices for 5102 Mini netbook will start at $ 399 and $ 949 for the laptop TouchSmart. Visit the UK will be confirmed shortly.
