Acer has released 15.6-inch Aspire AS5740, and 17.3-inch Aspire AS7740 entertainment-oriented notebooks, Intel Xeon processors, i3 and i5.In addition to basic I3-330M 2.13GHz and I5-430M 2.26GHz Intel CPU with integrated GPU HD AS5740 and AS7740 feature an optional ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1 GB 5470 512MB dedicated graphics, the 640GB hard disk, Blu-ray player on select models and Blue Gemstone design.
Acer Home Premium, Windows 7 powered AS5740 and AS7740 also sports a webcam, stereo speakers and Dolby Home Theater audio technology, HDMI output, and 802.11 WiFi.
Acer Aspire AS5740 and AS7740 series will be available for customers from the leading U.S. retailers beginning on January 17, the starting price of $ 750.
