Nokia N97 Mini Phone now Shipping

Nokia N97 Mini Phone Nokia announced on Wednesday, is now shipping the N97 and the Mini has released a new update for its N97 smartphone. Newer varieties of N97 have a QWERTY keyboard that the angles now, but a smaller 3.2-inch touchscreen, a more compact keyboard and built-in 8 GB of flash memory instead of the larger 32GB model. It costs the equivalent of $ 664 in Europe, where it is sold unlocked and without a contract and should also be available subsidized by carriers in the near future.

Free software update to an earlier phone includes a mini N97's Flick scrolling shortcut to an individual screen, and access to e-mail via the Nokia Messaging. The update also brings Ovi Maps 3.1 with 3D maps, along with contacts and Ovi Ovi Store. Former friends of the user updates the status of a brief, personalized, Twitter, as well as news, while the latter allows access to Nokia, personalization and storage of video.

Update can be phonemaker downloaded from the website on your computer with over-the updates directly to handsets coming later, unspecified date.
