
Acer announced a dual-boot version of Aspire One netbook AOD250 which includes Android and Windows XP operating systems.
Android is a lightweight Linux-based open-source OS designed specifically for mobile devices. Acer says that Android allows Netbook Aspire One or shut down quickly "Instant On" connectivity to the Internet.
Aspire One AOD250 has 10.1-inch display, Intel Atom N280, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
The first netbook with Android on the U.S. market starts $ 349.99.
