The Asus N61, a new 16-inch laptop that belongs to the multimedia-oriented Asus N series, is now available in the United States.
Newegg offers the ASUS N61Vg-X1 model, equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.20GHz processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 220m special 1GB video card, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 320GB hard drive and DVD burner.
Notebook display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
Asus N61Vg also sports stereo Altec Lansing speakers and SRS Premium Sound, 1.3MP webcam, multi-touch touchpad, 802.11n, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, 8-in-1 card reader multimedia and eSATA port.
Asustek says the N61 is equipped with exclusive design SonicMaster, which features a dedicated area of the resonance system, which provides better sound layers of sound reproduction.
With the default 6-cell battery, entertainment notebook weighs 6.5 kilograms.
N61Vg-X1 runs Windows Vista Home Premium and is currently valued at $ 799 after a time savings.
