LG Officially Unveils BL20 New Chocolate Handset

LG has officially announced Monday the upcoming release of its new New Chocolate phone series, the BL20. While most of the specifications are already known, including the 5 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch screen and an interface touchbutton, the official release adds an approximate release date and pricing for the handset. The BL20 should be delivered first in Europe later in October priced at the equivalent of $ 394 without requiring a contract.

The BL20 also has an LED flash and autofocus capability of the camera, while the internal memory is 130 MB but it is extensible with a card of 8 GB of microSD memory. Quad-band GSM voice networks will be supported, as are two bands of 3G data. The slim slider is designed as much as a fashion accessory as a phone, the company said.

Thank you to a Hotkey Widget, users can customize their home screen with shortcuts to favorite applications, including a new feature, the Clear Capture Memo. It enables spoken and typed messages to be saved.
