Systems surprise migration to Windows 7, and accordingly a large RAM upgrades, with up to 8GB of RAM installed in higher end configurations. 512GB solid-state drive is also an option, although a lower capacity SSDs up to 128GB, as well as traditional hard drives in 250GB and 500GB options. Other add-ons bring Blu-ray, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a dual digital TV tuner.
Battery life has been extended for a notebook with the switch processor and can survive for up to 11 hours of battery time, extended-Capacity is estimated to last about 17 hours.
Sony has so far Prices start at the equivalent of $ 1,406 in Japan, but has not revealed any plans for international launches. U.S. release, if any, is likely to see lower price.
